
Edward Davis (February 27, 1911 â" May 3, 1999) was an American car dealer. He had a Studebaker dealership from 1939 or 1940 until Studebaker went bankrupt in 1956, and a Chrysler franchise from 1963 to 1971. In 1996 he became the first black inductee in the Automotive Hall of Fame. His autobiography, One Man's Way, was published in 1979.
